HOPE 4 Youth has been chosen as the Minnesota Wild and Innovative Office Solutions Charity of the Month for December. As the Charity of the Month, HOPE 4 Youth will be featured at the December 12th Wild game. Because so many youth hockey teams are already involved with HOPE 4 Youth, we wanted to make this night a Hockey 4 HOPE night and ask youth hockey teams in our community to go out in the cold to raise awareness of what homeless youth experience on the streets.
What • Anoka County Youth and High School Hockey Teams go out in the cold to bring youth experiencing homelessness Out of the Cold. The team that raises the most funds to get Out of the Cold will win a prize.
When • Thursday, December 12, 2019; 5-8 p.m.
Where • Super Rink – National Sports Center (1850 – 105th Ave. NE, Minneapolis, MN 55449). This event will be outside so dress accordingly! Team apparel (warm-ups, jackets, jerseys) is encouraged.
Teams will need to set a fundraising goal and cannot come Out of the Cold until that goal is met or the clock turns to 8 p.m. Fundraising will begin December 1, 2019 at 8 a.m. and run through December 12, 2019 at 8 p.m. The team that raises the most funds to get Out of the Cold will win a grand prize.
