Annually there are more than 13,000 youth experiencing homelessness in Minnesota. On any given night it’s estimated that 6,000 young people will have nowhere to go and call home. They’re sleeping in cars, couch-hopping, or struggling to survive on the streets. HOPE 4 Youth is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Anoka County that helps young people, ages 16 to 24, who are experiencing homelessness in the northern Twin Cities metro area.
Our Core Values:
Resourceful, Accountable, Inclusive, Hopeful, Compassionate
Provide pathways to end youth homelessness.
All youth will feel safe, valued and supported while reaching their full potential. This begins with meeting their basic needs and leads to giving them the tools to thrive.
The “HOPE” in our name is an acronym for our key focus areas:
HOPE 4 Youth helps young people find emergency shelter and long-term housing.
HOPE 4 Youth meets young people where they are in the community with real-time assistance.
HOPE 4 Youth partners with other service providers whose missions support homelessness prevention.
HOPE 4 Youth assists young people with education and employment opportunities that create career pathways.
