Thank you for your generous support of HOPE 4 Youth. Monetary gifts are the most efficient way to support our mission. Below are a number of ways to maximize your impact and financially support our critical mission.

  • $100 provides vital food and hygiene items to sustain a youth for one week.
  • $250 provides resources for entering the workforce such as clothing, transportation, vital documents, etc.
  • $500 provides vehicle repair allowing youth to stay employed, in school, and safe.
  • $1,000 provides one-on-one support to help stabilize and empower youth living independently at HOPE Place.
  • $2,500 provides a youth with the fixed cost of entering stable housing.
  • $5,000 invests in youth support services related to social and emotional well-being, education, and financial competency.

One-time donations: Use our online donation form to make a quick gift right now.

Automatic monthly giving: The help we provide is made possible, in part, by generous donors who make monthly gifts of HOPE. This sustained giving ensures we can meet needs promptly, no matter the situation or the season. Sign-up to make a monthly gift via your credit card.

Create an online fundraiser: Launch your own personalized campaign to make a difference or celebrate a special day/occasion by raising funds for us. Another option is to create a fundraiser on Facebook that you can easily share with your friends.

Payroll deduction: Your employer may allow you to donate directly through payroll. Ask your human resources department for details.

Matching funds: Many companies have a matching gift program that doubles your generosity. Some companies also match volunteer hours with a financial donation. HOPE 4 Youth has received matching funds from major Minnesota companies like Medtronic, Target, Wells Fargo, and Xcel Energy. Ask your human resources department if your company has a matching program.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs): Donor-advised funds are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the U. S. because they are tax advantageous and one of the most effective ways to donate to HOPE 4 Youth. These funds are an excellent way to both simplify your charitable giving and facilitate your strategic philanthropic goals. DAFs allow you to make gifts of cash, stock and other assets. You receive an immediate tax deduction when the contribution is made. However, distributions from the fund are not immediately required. Ask your financial or tax advisor for details.

Stock and Securities: Gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds or other appreciated assets are a strategic way to support HOPE 4 Youth while securing tax benefits to maximize your support. By donating these assets, you can avoid capital gain taxes that would be required if you sold them. IRA Distributions: If you’re 72 or older, you can donate up to $100,000 per tax year directly from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to HOPE 4 Youth. A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a distribution from an IRA directly to an eligible charity, bypassing the owner of the account so he’s not taxed on it. QCDs count toward your required minimum distribution for the year. If you’d like to make a QCD gift, your financial institution should make the check out to “HOPE 4 Youth” and identify you as the donor by name and address.

Thrivent Choice Dollars: If you are a Thrivent Financial member, you can donate to HOPE 4 Youth through Thrivent Choice Dollars. All you have to do is search “HOPE 4 Youth” from the Thrivent’s search page.

United Way giving: You can write in HOPE 4 Youth as your charity of choice when giving through your company’s United Way campaign.

Donate In-Kind Gifts: We accept goods and services for our youth as well as for our event silent auctions. These items help us save money while providing you with a valuable tax deduction. Many of our youth have little/nothing when they come to us; our Drop-In Center has a clothing closet and food pantry for them to get items they need.

Roadside Assistance Fund: For many young people we support, their car is a lifeline — and sometimes a place to spend the night. So when there’s trouble, it can be disastrous. Your gift to Arrow Giving Foundation Roadside Assistance Fund will create a safety net to help a young person in need.

Shop to donate: If you use the AmazonSmile when you shop, you can make HOPE 4 Youth your charity of choice, and AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to us. Learn more about AmazonSmile.
