The Coon Rapids Lions Club will be at Potbelly’s on Thursday December 19th from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM for its monthly fundraiser. All dine-in and take-out orders during that time will have 25% of the cost donated towards our selected community charity. We hope you will come be a part of something bigger than what we can accomplish individually.

This month’s charity is Hope 4 Youth, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides pathways to end youth homelessness in our community. On any given night, there are more than 6,000 homeless young people in the State of Minnesota staying on the streets, many of them right here in our community. Hope 4 Youth works hard to change the life trajectories of the youth experiencing homelessness who need help.

Whether they need basic necessities – food from the food pantry, clothes from the clothing closet, a hot shower, a hot, nutritious meal, or personal hygiene items – or help finding housing, securing employment, finishing their education, or accessing health care, Hope 4 Youth helps them find a path that allows them to move forward with their lives – no longer experiencing homelessness.
