HOPE 4 Youth Center
HOPE 4 Youth Center in Anoka is the hub for a majority of our services for young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. It is a safe, non-judgmental place for youth of all backgrounds, races, and genders. No appointment is necessary to visit. Our HOPE 4 Youth Center provides basic needs such as hot meals, grab and go foods, clothing, laundry facilities, a shower, and more. Additionally, we have on-site Case Managers to help connect youth to stable housing, health and wellness programs, education and employment opportunities, and more.

HOPE Place staff and community partners provide on-site case management, including education and employment guidance, aimed at promoting self-sufficiency and long-term success. Youth must be 18-24 years old living in the north metro and willing to complete a goals plan to be eligible to live at HOPE Place. To learn more, contact call 763.323.2066, ext. 203.
Outreach & Prevention
Our HOPE 4 Youth Outreach and Prevention Programming connects youth to services and supports to assist in preventing homelessness. We do this through engagement with local high schools and community outreach to connect youth with age-appropriate resources such as Host Homes, Family Crisis Management, and Housing Support.
- Host Homes
- Our Host Homes program works alongside a young person and the individual they are currently residing with (family friend, relative, neighbor, etc.) to create agreements on shared expectations, share community resources, and, in some cases, offer financial support to offset the costs of the youth living in the home.
- If you’re the guest of a caring adult and you’d like to keep staying there, or if you’ve opened your home to a young person at risk for homelessness, let HOPE 4 Youth assist you in turning the couch-hopping arrangement into a Host Home.
- Eligibility: People under 25 who are at risk for homelessness in the northwest metro and the adults they are staying with (who are at least 10 years older) are eligible to apply for the Host Homes program. To learn more, contact our Host Homes Specialist, Chong Vang, at cvang@hope4youthmn.org or 763.323.2066, ext. 117.
