HOPE 4 Youth Center

HOPE 4 Youth Center in Anoka is the hub for a majority of our services for young people experiencing homelessness (see photos below). It is a safe, non-judgmental place for youth of all backgrounds, races, and genders. No appointment is necessary to visit.

You’ll recognize our outreach workers by the large green bags they carry everywhere they go. Each bag is filled with socks, water bottles, snacks, bus tokens, hygiene products, t-shirts, and other things a young person living on the streets may need. Our workers also offer referrals to the drop-in center.

Hours: HOPE 4 Youth Center is currently open Monday through Friday.
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday  11 am – 7 pm
Wednesday 1 pm – 7 pm
Friday  11 am – 5 pm

Calls are answered during business hours at 763.323.2066. (In an emergency, call 911.)

Location: The center is located at 2665 4th Avenue North, Suite 40, in Anoka (map). The building is known to locals as The Milk Factory. You can get to and from it via Metro Transit Bus Routes 805 and 850, and Northstar Line Route 888.

Service Details: We support young people, ages 16 to 24, who are experiencing homelessness in the northern metro area. (If you are under 16 and need help, we can connect you to other service providers.) In addition to many basic-needs services, case management is also provided, linking youth to stable housing, health and wellness programs, education and employment.

Meals: We offer fully prepared meals to young people who use the center. A free lunch is currently available at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  A free dinner is served weekdays between 5 and 6 p.m. Volunteers provide the meals, sometimes made from scratch and other times purchased at area restaurants.
